This program is led by Rhonda Adams, a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist. Rhonda is also certified in exercise for the frail elderly and The Strong living program through Tufts University. Walk NH
Walk New Hampshire is a program designed to promote walking in New Hampshire. The goal is to engage children and adults in walking and raise awareness of walking as a part of a healthy lifestyle.
Each person who participates will receive a log to record the number of miles they walk. Each individual who participates and reaches their chosen goal will receive an 'I Walked NH' patch and a certificate signed by Governor John Lynch and Dr. Susan Lynch.
Youth programs, recreation programs, businesses, schools or individuals and families are welcome to get involved. There is no fee to sign up.
After a very successful first year, with more than 5,000 participants and thousands of cumulative miles walked, we’re taking it to the next level!
