The Arts Gallery of Lisbon will be hosting an arts and fine crafts show as part of the Franconia Old Home Day Celebration. The show will be from 9am - 3pm in downtown Franconia.

6th Annual Summer Concert Series
Wednesdays July 8 to August 19 - 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Lawn of the Shared Ministry’s "White Church" South Main Street, Lisbon. Admission is free to all of the concerts. Refreshments of hot dogs, chips and soft drinks will be available for sale, with support from local and area merchants. A popular addition to the offerings will be the Lisbon Women's Club, Friends in Council, selling ice cream sundaes. In case of inclement weather the concerts will be held indoors at the Lisbon Town Hall. Among the sponsors for this summer's concerts are Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank, Lisbon Stump Jumpers, and Friends in Council. July 8 - Matt Tellier - Lisbon native performing faithful reproductions of acoustic favorites spanning several generations.
July 22 - The Back Shed String Band - Five members from Monroe performing a mix of classic Bluegrass, Old-Time, Irish and original tunes, with an occasional cover of a country or folk song thrown in.
August 5 - Parker Hill Road - 5-man band with repertoire ranging from traditional Bluegrass to modern pop tunes performed in the Bluegrass tradition.
August 19 - Maple Leaf Seven - From St. Johnsbury, the Northeast Kingdom's own traditional jazz band, provides traditional "Dixieland" and classic swing for northern New England jazz lovers and dancers.
Free Concert
Free concert by the North Country Big Band (jazz), outdoors at the bandstand behind the Monroe School, Rt. 135, halfway between Woodsville and Littleton. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and relax on a summer night.
9th Annual Fall Festival of the Arts - Arts & Crafts Fair
The Ammonoosuc Region Arts Coucil will host this one day event. The day promises lots of fall foods, entertainment, demonstrations and interactive activities of all ages! Events to include live entertainment, pie contest, people's art show and quilt show.

Monroe Harvest Festival
Free all-day event kicks off at 10 am with a parade, followed by antique/classic car show, games for kids, music & live entertainment. Dogs & burgers for lunch, chicken bbq for dinner, and a relaxing bonfire when the sun goes down. An old-fashioned fun day.

8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Shaw's Market, Littleton. Sponsored by: Bethlehem Fire Dept Auxiliary. This is a fundraiser to replenish funds for food & supplies used during emergency calls. So if you need a great homemade dessert for a Fourth of July holiday party or bar-b-que, be sure to stop at their bake sale table. Donations accepted!

Day Out With Thomas the Tank Engine
Take a 25 minute train ride with a full size Thomas the Tank Engine, meet Sir Topham Hatt, and enjoy storytelling, live music, build with Lego Duplo bricks, and more. Admission is $18 for ages 2 and up. All tickets on July 10th are $15. Events are rain or shine, after all, Thomas does have a roof!

Community Garden Spots Available at LRH
Community gardening spots are now available at the Littleton Regional Hospital Community Garden for community members interested in planting and maintaining a garden but may not have the available space. Garden spots available measure 20' by 10' and will be available to gardeners from after Memorial Day through October. Call LRH Community Garden leadership at 603-444-9261 now to reserve your space.
Lisbon Farmers' Market
Thursdays, June 18 to Mid-October - 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., North Main Street, Route 302, Lisbon. Hosted by: The Lisbon Main Street Program. To be eligible to take part in the market, vendors must grow their own vegetables or other produce, and craft vendors must make their own art or craft works. Any grower or crafter interested in becoming a vendor may obtain a registration form and the market standards by calling the Lisbon Main Street office, 603-838-2200 or requesting one by email.

4th Annual Colonial Theatre Benefit Golf Tournament and Club Buffet Dinner
Shot-gun Tee Off at 1:00 p.m., Bethlehem Country Club, Bethlehem. 4 member team scramble with lots of outstanding prizes. Registration fee: $60 per player. Includes entry into Putting Contest, Greens Fee, Cart Rental, Goodie Bag and Post-Tournament Club Buffet Dinner. Top Notch Triathlon
Hosted by: Franconia Parks & Recreation, the Triathlon will attract bikers, hikers and swimmers from all over New England. Bikers, hikers and swimmers are encouraged to register. The triathlon will begin in Franconia, NH. Bikers will ride along 3 miles of paved road before embarking on a wooded uphill trail climb to the top of Franconia Notch. The next leg will be a plunge into pristine Echo Lake (average August water temp: 65°) for a brisk swim. The last leg will be for hikers who will climb up the ski trails of Cannon Mountain. The vertical rise from lake to the summit will be 2,280 feet. The grand total vertical climb from start to finish will be a phenomenal 3320 feet. 2nd Annual Feel'n Top Notch Outdoor Expo and Wellness Fair
10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Cannon Mountain Peabody Lodge area, Franconia. The Expo and Wellness Fair is intended to provide numerous opportunities for people to learn outdoor skills and wellness tips in a fun and exciting environment. Partnered by: Littleton Regional Hospital, Cannon Mountain, Franconia Parks & Recreation, Pemigewasset Valley Search & Rescue, Franconia Notch Chamber of Commerce, NH Fish & Game Department and Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce. The Expo will feature hands on activities, exhibits, and demonstrations on topics including fishing, hiking, biking, wilderness first-aid, Hike Safe Program, maps and compasses, hiking with dogs and children, campfire safety, moose-myths & facts, alpine plants and mammals, hypothermia, and information for every hiker. The whole family can enjoy demonstrations and hands on activities including a climbing wall, Smokey Bear, forestry trucks, forest fire prevention, and fly casting, to name a few.
The wellness fair will include FREE health screenings including blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose screenings, and body mass analysis. Fitness tips and healthy eating demonstrations will be included to promote healthy lifestyles for children and adults. Holistic medicine techniques and demonstrations will be part of this exciting event.
The cost of the outdoor expo and wellness fair (only) is $5.00 per person with children under 12 admitted free. All activities, exhibits and demonstrations are included in the price of admission with the exception of tram rides and boat rentals.

14th Annual Dr. Moose Golf Tournament
Maplewood Country Club. Sponsored by: LRH Charitable Foundation. Registrations are now being taken and this year players will enjoy an 18-hole round of golf, great prizes, raffle and auction items and a celebratory event immediately following the tournament. This charity golf tournament raises funds each year to support the Paramedic Intercept Program at Littleton Regional Hospital. The mission of the Littleton Regional Hospital Charitable Foundation is to create community and regional charitable support for Littleton Regional Hospital and programs and services that promote the health and well being of the communities it serves.
